First time I’ve had food here since 2016. Definitely much better food and service. The place has also been renovated and is now a very pleasant and comfortable place to eat. We cannot praise the food at the Coach and Horses highly enough. Freshly cut meat (no catering packs here! crispy roast potatoes, tasty gravy and a wonderful array of puddings to choose from. We recommend the home made ginger ice cream which perfectly complemented the apple tarte tatin. Oh, and I forgot to say, really friendly staff.

This is a really super pub. My only complaint is that the menu is so full of delicious things, that it is really hard to choose what to eat. We were a group of 2 couples. It was good value, good service, lovely clean and comfortable bar area and above all good grub. Just go there. You won’t be disappointed.

Visited yesterday for lunch. Spotted this delightful venue on the way back from Saffron Walden. Lovely friendly people, food was excellent and so well presented. Be warned if you order nachos, it was the largest but the most delicious I've ever tasted!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
