Coach Horses Horns Cross

Five stars for the community spirit and adaptability! We stayed here a few days ago while looking for a place to eat. They only serve food on Fridays, specifically fish and chips in the evening. Well, Friday arrived, and it was definitely worth the visit. The pub was bustling, and while we waited for our order, we enjoyed a pint. The takeout was well-presented, complete with bags of ketchup and tartar sauce, as well as salt, pepper, and a slice of lemon. During our holiday, we noticed that the locals were enjoying the same feast. The prices were reasonable, and the quality was excellent. It’s wonderful to see a traditional pub thriving and remaining open for the community.

After a long walk with my family, we decided to stop by this restaurant, and it turned out to be a great choice for a drink and a snack while we took a break. There were some locals there enjoying the bank holiday, which created a beautifully happy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed some delicious, freshly roasted chips that were the perfect way to wrap up our walk.

I stayed here with my brother for four nights as part of a walking holiday in North Devon. The room was grand basic but very clean though the mattresses are a not the most comfortable. Breakfast was pre packed due to covid, which was OK. Tina was really helpful with advice, guidance and table bookings. Overall, a very good stay.

The ambiance was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The beer was fantastic, and I enjoyed the company of the friendly locals—especially a cheerful boxer dog! It’s a great place to relax with a few drinks, but keep in mind that they only offer bar snacks, not full meals. Reserva una mesa ahora

Stayed for B&B in annex. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was prepacked in room and basic but given the price of the room perfectly acceptable. Good for an overnight stopover. All rooms appear to be upstairs so no disabled access as far as I was aware.

brilliant Sunday dinner for 12 of us. very friendly and helpful staff. eating was delicious and 6 children were well maintained. excellent.
