We made a reservation for St. Patrick's Day lunch and the restaurant had to rearrange their seating as they opened up their outdoor patio, but they called me back promptly. They were very accommodating and polite. The staff informed us in advance that there would be live music, but it turned out to be a solo guitarist, which was delightful and not too loud. The interior of the restaurant is a bit small and cozy, but the beer garden was a fantastic place to relax on a nice day. I ordered wings and the minute the plate was put in front of me I knew just from looking at them that they weren 't going to be good. Undercooked, absolutely flavourless. I told the server I couldn 't eat them and ordered macaroni and cheese. It was piping hot but totally lacking in flavour with a runny cheese sauce. Comfort food. They offer daily specials along with the menu, like any other pub. I would say the chef enjoys cooking for people. I ate the pulled pork special. Left stuffed. One of my friends had the mac and cheese he loved it. The food is perfect pub fare. The seating in the restaurant is a bit tight if you are planning on have a private convo forget that. Parking lot is a bit messy/muddy but it is free parking. Service is lovely. If you are in a super rush come another time.
The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired well with a refreshing salad. The burgers were also delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to find a live band playing in the patio area during our Saturday late lunch, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. I love coming to the Coach House Pub whenever I'm in Stouffville! The beet salad with goat cheese is to die for and the meals are always fresh and filling. Whether it's a burger or fish they've got a good selection. They're clean and have kept the place safe during this trying time. I love the outdoor patio in the warm weather! Thanks to all the staff for making dining a pleasure again!!
Terrible experience. The portions, especially for the roast beef sandwich, were incredibly small. It felt like I got a tiny bun with just a bit of meat inside, leaving me wondering where the rest of it was. The macaroni and cheese was also terrible, and the burgers were both small and burnt. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Complete waste of money.
Great food great staff I'm not crazy about the tables so close together and the very muddy view of the parking lot but there aren't that many other restaurant choices in the area. Looks like there are awesome bands on weekends that play Motown so I'll have to return soon, I've heard the place is always packed!!!
We in Ballantrae we're very happy to get a local pub a couple of years ago. It's exactly what you want in a local pub friendly service, good food, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices, close to home. Great spot for my wife and I to go for lunch or to go with a group after golf.

I've eaten here 3-4times since they have been open. The waitresses are friendly but the food is way overpriced and mediocre. The fries with curry gravy is $9.00. (frozen from a bag)I've posted a photo here to show what was left after I picked through the soggy not burnt ones.
Try the stuffed yorkies!!! To die for! Great selection of beer on tap. Service is a tad slow sometimes but a small place like that won't be staffed like the chains.
