The last time my kids and I visited, we had a great experience. However, this time was quite disappointing. We placed our order at 12:31 PM and received our appetizers 20 minutes later. As of 1:40 PM, we are still waiting for our main dishes. I tried to get the attention of our waitress and asked for the check for our drinks and appetizers since we have been waiting over an hour, while two groups that arrived after us have already received their food. She apologized and told me that she was the only waitress and there was just one cook in the kitchen. I told her that was fine, but I still wanted my check. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and I’ve always loved it. The wings are consistently top-notch, and the beer is amazing. The service this evening was excellent. Our waitress, Summer, was managing two large parties alongside our table, yet I never felt neglected. Everything arrived on time, and she regularly checked on us. Huge shoutout to Summer for being such a hard worker with a fantastic attitude!

The restaurant is a bit small and a little confusing, as there’s no indication of whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated. This can be off-putting right from the start, as it leaves me unsure of where to go. When I do seat myself, I often worry that the staff might not have noticed my arrival, which should definitely be addressed. However, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Freshest tasting food in the entire area. And they mean to accommodate, if you want your fish or shrimp grilled instead of fried, just ask. Personally I love the grilled shrimp tacos and grilled catfish but all is good. The service is excellent and the bartenders are top notch. I visited this restaurant after filming Catfish, and I was honestly overwhelmed with emotion—I couldn't stop crying. The food was incredible; it was on par with that of three other people in my party. I loved the charming small-town atmosphere, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

If you haven't been to West Point in the Valley area, it's a must-visit! They even have a TV in the restroom so you can catch the game while you're there. The experience is fantastic!
