I live just down the street from this restaurant and frequent it quite often because the food is excellent. However, during the off-season, I was disappointed to find that they close at 8 PM, even when the place is packed and people are still walking in. The owner really needs to have a conversation with the bartender (and I use that term loosely) about how to manage customers more effectively. It was awkward to see a busy restaurant with a lot of potential profits being emptied out, especially when there were still people trying to get in. The highlight of our visit was definitely the kitchen. Unfortunately, the host and hostess were very unwelcoming—they didn’t greet us or make us feel welcome and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about the menu. They lost a star each for their poor service. The restaurant was nearly empty since they had just opened. The appetizer and pizza were excellent. We were seated right in front of the kitchen and prep area, which the kids really enjoyed watching, as the 14 staff members worked seamlessly together. The prices were typical for a resort setting.
Do not waste your money!!! Over 100 dollars and making us wait an additional 20 minutes after the initial hour they stated. The supreme pizza came only with bell peppers and sausage. The pizza is as thin as a piece of paper and will still be coldafter they make you wait longer. Somehow they have a sign that states they were ?out of pizza? as well. The staff was stonedand just giggle while a line of people in front of us are complaining. Worst pizza I have ever had, just a tourist trap.
The pizza was decent, but the service was quite slow, and it felt like the staff wasn't particularly enthusiastic about their work. The overall atmosphere didn't have the resort feel I was expecting. However, I really enjoyed the crust. The burrata appetizer was good and fresh, while the meatballs had great flavor but were a bit tough. I appreciate the convenience of dining within the resort, but next time, I think I'll drive into Isle of Palms for dinner instead.

The staff at Coastal Crust were very friendly, and our food arrived quickly and piping hot. The only downside was that our pizza was soggy and could have used more cooking time, as the crust wasn’t crispy at the bottom. However, the Caesar salad was delicious, as was the Burrata. We would definitely come back again. The location is super convenient, especially since our room was just upstairs. It’s also kid-friendly.
This restaurant is convenient and offers excellent service and delicious food. I really enjoyed the short rib gnocchi, paired with a glass of pinot noir, and the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer (which had plenty of bacon). It also came with a piece of bread. I took half of my meal home and had a fantastic lunch the next day. I highly recommend you give it a try—buon appetito!
Amazing wood-fired pizzas with inventive toppings. I highly recommend the fig and prosciutto with blue cheese and a drizzle of hot honey. We also loved the Grandma pizza with mozzarella, basil, olive oil, and crushed tomato sauce, and everyone else in my group was a big fan of the Supremo. We ordered our pizzas for takeout, but I’m sure they’d taste even better dining in!
Very good gluten free pizza and a great Italian salad. Nice night to sit outside and enjoy food with my family. Disappointed in waiter who never once refilled our drinks or checked on us. Other than that no wait and quick service.
