I really enjoyed the experience of self-serving hot pot at Cocary. I've been to many hot pot places, but Cocary stands out as unique. You can choose your own ingredients, including meat, seafood, tofu, vegetables, side dishes, and desserts, and you pay based on the number of plates you take. There’s also Shacha sauce available for $2, and each table has a selection of spices, including soy sauce and vinegar. Additionally, they have a station for unlimited porridge and rice, and you even use your own bowls and pans! This is definitely my favorite spot for food. The concept is amazing—you pay as much as you want and everything is self-serve. The only thing you need to wait for is to pour the soup base into your bowl, which is typically done when you’re getting your food. Occasionally, certain meats might run out, but they usually restock quickly. I’ve noticed that prices have definitely gone up since I last visited in 2012. I’m really glad this place has reopened, and I hope they can resume their regular hours soon. I always enjoy dining during happy hour, which offers a 20% discount on the entire bill. Consistently excellent. The fresh meat and vegetables are grilled right at your table. Usually, there’s little to no wait time. It's budget-friendly, though prices have increased slightly in certain areas. My wife and I have been dining at this restaurant for years. So far, we've always enjoyed it.
My boyfriend was in the mood for hotpot, while I was craving something soupy. We originally planned to grab pho from a nearby restaurant, but then we stumbled upon this place! It had the best kimchi we've ever tasted. We enjoyed all the meats and flavors. We'll definitely be coming back!

The prices have been rising, with small plates now costing almost $6.00, up from $2.99. Large plates are currently priced at $8.00. Thankfully, I don't visit this place as often as I used to. My bill for two people came to a total of $92. Food rating: 4/5.
We come here often because we love the food. I just don't understand how you run out of rice! It has happened at least 3 -4 times that we've come, and we have to wait until the next batch is ready. Just crazy... need another rice steamer.
I've always gone here to eat with my family and it's amazing. Good food with good prices. The only thing is that they're short handed but besides that their service is great.
Very nice place to have lunch or dinner with family. You can put your meat and vegetables into soup, also grill them. Plus, rice and porriage are serving for free.
