Had a meal here for our anniversary and to be honest it was a complete waste of money. I used to love this place but this most recent visit was so extremely disappointing that it’ll probably be my last. Got seated ok and given menus. Selection has changed and wasn’t great. Ordered the charcuterie board “main” for the two of us as a starter. If that was a main you’d have starved. Very little on it. Bread was stale. The meat and cheese were great. Best thing on the meal. Just back from an overnight trip, which was made all the better by being able to take our dog, both on the accommodation and restaurant seated area. Upon arrival met by a courteous and professional member of staff, who showed us to our room, which as advertised is away from the main building. Room was lovely and clean, with good basic facilities, plenty of tea/ coffee, only thing missing is a wee fridge !!. Glad we booked a table in advance, as restaurant busy, once food order placed we settled back to enjoy a glass of wine, with the log burner glowing lovely. Great value pub with rooms, well located for the coast nearby seal beach. The room was nice, very spacious and comfortable, if a touch dated. Note that some rooms are in a bungalow next to the pub. Great value for money. Food in the pub in the evening excellent great choices, daily specials and again good value. Breakfast was again excellent loads of choice and all included in the price of the room. All the usual options plus a few more from full breakfast through to French toast. Dog friendly too!

Stopped here today on the motorbike for lunch and have to say I'm impressed. We had club sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious and large portions too. Care is paid to food presentation too. Staff was courteous and friendly and the decore is classy as hell. Very well looked established, everything was clean yet cosy. They are dog friendly and even have a dog menu! Love the polaroids of the doogo who have stayed there too, nice touch! We will definitely be back for more. Reserva una mesa ahora

Been twice in a week recently, you may remember we sat outside. NEVER disappoints. Been for many years previously. Just a perfect ambience inside, great service and the food is ace. Staff are friendly, but a massive thanks to the unseen chefs. Very well priced too. for staff. We will be back. Everyone I have recommended had reviews too.

Lovely meals for adults and kids. I had the adult fish and chips and the Mrs had a half size. Both really tasty and I've never seen such big chips before and all well cooked through with no hard bits. Other couple with us had the shared fish platter (no photo) but it was haddock, smoked salmon, whitebait and calamari lovely

Best roast beef was the best I have had out for many years. Beautifully cooked and tender. Lovely trimmings too. The grandchildren cleared their plates one enjoyed the gammon and the other chips. Some nice veggie options too but perhaps some more choice would be appreciated for this. Staff friendly and helpful s
