I had high hopes for this place. I rated 3 only because the place is gorgeous and the food was excellent. The place is amazing the moment you walked in until you see the sad excuse for pastry case and then you see the employees. The girl who took my order was wearing oversized gray sweatpants served with an attitude, that was a big killer for me, the classiness of the place died immediately. Don't get me wrong I don't care about what they're wearing or the attitude but the place calls for uniforms and a better kept and better looking pastry case. The food was excellent. Coffee only on this day. Great friendly service on a very busy day. Beautiful space inside with high ceilings and eclectic seating. A mix of European/ 'often American style. Coffee was ok. I went americano and bride had a cappuccino. So lost a star only because coffee was o my fair. I 'd still totally visit if I was in town so don 't shy away!

I went to buy a coffee and I paid 9 dollars for a cappuccino with some flavor!! The price for a coffee is insane!! The price at the menu for Cappuccino is 6 dollars so 3 more dollars for the syrup and tax?? Downtown in Chicago the coffee is less expensive so what makes you think that you can sell a coffee for higher price??unbelievable..

Great coffee, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend. One of the only non-chain coffee places in the area, and it blows everything else out of the water.
