Highly recommended for great Vietnamese food in Essen.We (2 people) showed up without reservation on Saturday night (which was a mistake, I admit). But the super-friendly staffs there did everything they could to fit us in. We had summer rolls, Pho, and Saigon beers, which were all very good at reasonable prices. My companion, who spent some time in Vietnam, also approved of the taste!! Thank you very much for the wonderful evening!!
We found this restaurant from other recension, we went there with friends after exhibition, all of us (Italian, Polish, French and Dutch) we were unanimous to say that CoCoLà is one of the best restaurant that we found. Quite and nice atmosphere, jovial and young staff, amazing food... well it was a real positive surprise for all of us. Thanks keep it up, see you next time!!!
Recommended to make a reservation, if you can.Cosy Bar type Vietnamese Restaurant.Friendly people.Try raw spring roll, to be rapped by yourself at the table for fun.Curry with fried duck was good. Enjoyed Crispy duck.I could have taken "hottest" as 2nd level of spice was not hot enough for me.
Had a very good meal in CoCoLa tonight. Vietnamese rolls (ie not fried) followed by a warm prawn salad with noodles, beanshoots and vegetables in a sweet chilli sauce. Saigon beer to drink and a ginger tea to finish all for under €30. Highly recommended Reserva una mesa ahora
The place it's really nice and the peaple tjat work there a lre super friendly and proffessional but the foos is not vietnamise....it's a mix beetween cinese vietnamese and japanise..... It's good but not real
One if the regular places while in Essen. Never a disappointment. Always fresh and tasty food along with good service. Over all an easy recommendation to anyone.
Very authentic restaurant. The menu is small but very tasty and fresh. I also recommend the tonka bean creme brulee. Service is also very friendly.
