Cocotazo - Reserva de mesa

I've heard a lot about Cocotazo, and as a former New Yorker, I drove 1.5 hours from Pennsylvania to see what all the hype was about. The arroz con gandules was absolutely incredible—bursting with flavor. It’s so good you don’t even need a side or meat. The pernil was decent, and the cuerito was perfectly crunchy, just as it should be. The potato salad was okay, but the arroz con gandules really stood out, as did the tamarind juice, which was a big winner for me. The food at Cocotazo is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is also fantastic. It would be even better if some dishes were available every day rather than only on certain days.
