I came to your store on the 26th July and purchased food. This was a time were the kitchen was not open for some reason (no signs saying this) Therefore the staff member said they would sort a REFUND. This REFUND was never provided. So much so I had to travel over an hour from Merthyr Tydfil to the Cardiff bay store, pay for parking and go into the store on the 9th June and request my refund which I was rightly owed. I provided them with my reciept and bank statement to show it has not been refunded. They said they will sort it out and will be in my account in three days. From the 9th June I am now over a week after returning to the shop and I still have no REFUND THIS IS DISGRACEFUL SERVICE...
I visited the café on a Sunday afternoon for coffee and cake. I waited by the counter and asked the man behind it if I should place my order there. He informed me that I could, but not at that moment as he was busy serving 15 other customers ahead of me. When I jokingly said it wouldn't take him too long, he replied that it would take about 20 minutes and he was in no rush as he was paid by the hour. Shocked by his attitude, my husband and I decided to leave and find another place for coffee where we were welcomed and promptly served. I doubt the café owners would approve of their staff speaking to customers in such a manner. Needless to say, we will not be returning to that café.
Come here lots of times with friends, whether that be for breakfast, lunch, coffee or evening drinks. Great food and views! The customer could do with some work. But their app needs to be updated to allow full amendments to a dish. Rather than having to go to the bar and at risk of paying extra for service charge, which could have been avoided if app functions properly. On this occasion, I can't eat egg and can't just remove it from my breakfast option. And ended up having to queue for ages to order at the bar. Please save yourself and customers time by updating this.
Great little spot on Mermaid Quay for breakfast on a sunny Sunday. We were only in Cardiff for a short visit to the rugby and had spotted this place the night before. Great selection of food drinks. The dark haired lady with glasses on the till was super friendly and helpful. I'm a veggie and I had my first ever Glamorgan sausage. The veggie bap it came on was huge and delicious, easily one of the best veggie breakfasts I've had. Coffees and milkshakes also very good. We took a couple of their lovely bakes away with us. Really reasonably priced and worth it.

On Saturday, we stopped by for some coffee and were impressed by the helpful staff. Despite just ordering coffee, we were grateful when a friendly waitress brought us iced water to cool down on the hot day as we were in our motorcycle gear. After rehydrating, we asked if we could purchase some bread to feed the swans, and the staff generously provided us with some for free. I believe this restaurant is a great spot to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the bay.
When we arrived it was not obvious what the ordering process was. We were finally told we can order from the table. No menus were proved so we had to go and find a menu. We order through the app. We weren't told which Cappuccino was the decaf variety. We were missing a pastry and had to ask. We observed that other tables were having the same poor service and experience. Shame as it is a great location.
We both had Glamorgan sausage with a hash brown, very nice, Americano wasn’t great, my wife liked her cappuccino. Lovely weather and views helped the experience.
This one of my best spot in cardiff, staff very friendly and an amazing view especially at sunset time. I highly recommend it
