Cold Shoulder Cafe

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this coastal cafe, conveniently located across the street from the beach. The staff was friendly, the menu was straightforward, and the pastry display case was impressive. We tried the chickpea curry soup, the flatbread with Brie and tomato, a sausage roll, and an apple turnover. Everything was delicious, although I found the glaze on the apple turnover to be a bit overpowering - I suspect it was almond extract. Despite this, I appreciated the flavor, though I felt there was a bit too much glaze for my liking. The pastry was excellent and the filling, with the peel left on the apples, had a rustic quality to it.

Love this place. The pastries are amazing. Cooked fresh. And service was great. I had a Brie cheese twist something (can’t remember what it’s called) and my husband had the danish. They were fresh and warm. Like the kind you get in Europe. OMG! So good. I would go all the way back there just for that.

Set in a scenic location by the Strait of Juan de Fuca, this is the perfect stop for a weary hiker/traveler. There are ample options for meals, pastry, and coffee/tea drinks. The chili is great on a cold day. Parking spots are available as well as park benches of an outdoor dining experience.

This cozy little restaurant is a gem. The owners are fantastic and deserve a toast. We made a pit stop on our way to Port Renfrew and enjoyed some delicious hot coffee and snacks. The location is perfect for a quick break. A must-visit spot! Reserva una mesa ahora

We had Chilli and curried chickpea soup, and a blueberry cheese Danish. Everything was really good and delicious. Soup and Chilli comes with focaccia bread, also very nice.

Lovely little cafe. Friendly people, delicious food. GREAT coffee. Stop by the beach across the road too for a nice pitstop with a view. Hope we can stop by again soon!

Delicious sandwiches and good coffee in a beautiful landscape. There are almost no other opportunities to eat in this area, so you should take advantage of the café.

Great place to stop after kite flying or surfing. Breakfast has always been worth it for the stop. The coffee is worth a stop.
