I love this place because it's everything I want in my neighborhood pub. Clean and welcoming space. Ample bar space and enough tables to get a spot without needing to wait an hour. Collins' food is good too. Haven't had a bad meal yet. Highlight head and shoulders above others are their wings. Of course pubs need drinks too. The bar staff are friendly and not pushy or aloof. The tap lines are cleaned regularly. A lot of this seems basic but in a world where the basics are hard to execute well, Collins does so consistently. It's the perfect spot in my backyard.
Who’s that? I originally intended to visit Arthur’s for a meal at the bar, but it was packed. So, I decided to go to Collins instead. I sat at the bar, where the bartender was friendly and recommended a great meal. I ordered a steak, which was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The bar had plenty of TVs showing various sports events. Overall, it’s a great place!
I really enjoy this pub. The burgers are delicious, the steak fries are thick and crispy, and the fried food is fantastic. It's a cozy neighborhood spot perfect for grabbing a beer and watching the game, or for sitting down to enjoy a meal. I've been going there for years and appreciate it more than some of the busier restaurants in the area.
Great relaxed neighborhood pub with good food, great beer and friendly service. We went special for Monday night Lobster, just perfect. Collins reminds me of the Tavern neighborhood I visited when I lived in Chicago. A place where everyone knows your name, not us because it was our first time.

I go there all the time, great food and nice environment. The sirloin steak is great. Burgers and sandwich's are also a big hit! Get the wings as an appy. Tasty and fresh! The bar tenders and servers are all friendly.
Affordable and flavorful! We've lived here for 10 years and have often enjoyed lunch at this place. The menu is simple, the food is delicious, and the prices are fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I visited this restaurant for the first and last time (since they’re closed on Mondays). The Collins Chicken Sandwich was excellent, just like the Collins Shrimp appetizer. Seriously...

Great Pub! The steaks and burgers are very good, and affordable! Old school bar, friendly staff and customers. The Carrot Cake is awesome, and goes well with an Irish Coffee.
Permanently closed. It's really disappointing to see a dependable option for a casual dinner in the neighborhood go away.
