The environment was interesting, cowboy life and trophy hunting heads on the wall atmosphere. Busy day in Harrison due to travelers attending the total eclipse so I'll give servers a break on their missteps. My chef salad was so so, my fried okra was not warm, another in our party said their food was Luke warm too. Potatoes were chewy and French fries not all that tasty. One side, the green beans were actually delicious. Overall the food wasn't good and the general dining experience was not worth coming back for, but if you're hungry for meat it's not a bad option.Vegetarian options: Chef salad was acceptable, veggie sides were good, but most items on the menu had meat.
Guess my first review didn't take? This was hands down the best Colton's experience for me and my wife! We arrived around 8:15 and weren't sure if they would seat us being so close to closing, but they did. The staff was great! Polite and kind. My steak was honestly the best steak that I have ever had at a Colton's! My wife got the salmon and really enjoyed it. We both got mashed potatoes. Which were also good. This was a great ending to a hectic day. Thank yall!
The employees there are very nice. The waitress we got was very good. The raspberry sweet tea was delicious. I did have a bad experience with the food. The food was awful. The meat smelled and tasted unseasoned. My burger had two strands of hair in it. The buns were so hard to bite into. The burger was just overall dry. Maybe don’t order the burgers if you come here. The sweet potato fries were delicious. We probably won’t be coming here again.
Every time we visit this restaurant, the food is served cold or cooked improperly. The kitchen operates slowly and it appears that they haphazardly plate the dishes as they come out. It seems like there is a lack of care or proper cooking skills. If the staff cannot properly prepare or cook the food, it is the responsibility of the management to fix the issue. If this restaurant were in a larger city with more choices, it would not survive.

Came through Harrison on a road trip and decided to stop here. The food was alright; the cheese fries had more green onions than it had cheese. The chicken was a little overcooked, and the steak was undercooked. Our waitress was super nice, but we only saw her twice, and she never bothered refilling our drinks or much over anything else. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just an okay one.
This Colton's location is the worst I have ever been to. The food is average, but the service is terrible. It's not worth complaining to the manager because they don't seem to care.
The service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The chicken was thin and dry. However, I have had good food at this location in the past.
