Columbus Bakery - Reserva de mesa

I normally go to Columbus Bakery because it has more variety than a lot of other Colombian/Latino stores however lately I have not been pleased with the service/offerings.I noticed something weird this time and it must be noted publicly. The cashier said my total was $74.99 and that is how much I paid but when I asked for a detailed receipt, the total only came up to $72.99. I noticed from the previous customer that she had opened up the register and taken out what seemed to be some change and put it in the tip jar. Seems that they are doing this to everyone without even giving the customers notice. I only bought the already made hot food, not like I ordered any food that would require a tip...

I have been a customer of the bakery for several years, I really like the bakery and it’s products and every time I go I have a very good experience, but I do not agree with the opinion of (Ernesto Ruiz) since we are human and can make mistakes. And just because of a mistake that happened once, we can NOT judge and put false in a person's name without being sure or generalize that cashiers take tips from the customer without telling them, or say that they do it with all customers. Went to get a coffee with milk, the girl used the same cloth to clean the nozzle of the milk frother as she used to clean the counter tops. I asked her to clean it with water and paper towel before frothing the milk for my coffee, and she used Windex. I left without getting a coffee. Unfortunately, the people there don't speak English well, and often times they can't understand you. I've been going here since they opened up, and wish the employees were taught how to run the front properly.

Columbus Bakery offers genuine Colombian baked goods that are absolutely worth sampling! I strongly recommend the conchas and cheese rolls. However, for those unfamiliar with Colombian cuisine, the lack of a clear menu with prices displayed at the entrance may make ordering a bit daunting. While regular customers seem to navigate it effortlessly, first-time visitors might want to do some prior research to make the experience smoother. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent store to get Colombian food. I bought empanadas, buñuelos , almojábanas, chicharrón, yuca and caribañolas. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. This store is bigger than the one at Dufferin. It would be nice if you give a detailed receipt to everyone to make sure you don’t charge extra.

The cashier is always very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to give this place only one star. The picada was stale and seemed to have been left out for 2-3 days. The arroz con leche was similar; the milk was spoiled and tasted sour.

Please, please, label your food already. Prices and names/descriptions. Constantly seems like it just opened because of that, but it's been there for years. Lovely place, with big potential.

The food quality is excellent, but the debit/credit card machine frequently has issues.
