Combs has amazing food when the owners actually are there running the place but sadly they let teenagers and their friends kids run the place and let things run out knowing it needs replaced ....teens are lazy and need management and won't do their job unless u make them ....also one of the kids that work there added a 30 percent tip on ny debit card then tried to lie to my face about it ...contacted the owner lisa and she was nice but I never received a refund on my card for the tip and no mattwr what the reason i should have jist had a full refund for the trouble ....like I said good food if u catche em on the right day but honestly it's waaaaaaaay overpriced ....just in my opinion it shou...

This is a cute spot on Central Ave. in Middletown, OH. I had the pulled pork, a full slab of ribs, baked beans, and cole slaw. The pulled pork was tender and had great flavor, the flavor of the bbq ribs was awesome. I got them at the end of the day, so they were a little dry around the ends. Still very, very good, though. The baked beans were so friggin good, but the cole slaw was very dry. It was like eating raw cabbage with no dressing. I like fresh veggies, so it was ok for me, but anyone who prefers creamy slaw, this is not it.

So if i didnt have to actually put a star i wouldn't. So we got a take out order and i was told a total of $42. I get home and then my notifications said $48.30 was spent on my card. So without my Knowledge they Added a $6.30 tip. That is NOT acceptable. Yea its only $6.30 but its the fact they Went behind my back without saying anything.

The food here is outstanding! This is the biggest brisket sandwich I've ever encountered! The value is incredible, and the service is excellent. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area.

Combs has the absolute best barbecue ever. And their prices are very good too. Call ahead if you are going to be trying the ribs to make sure they are on the menu that day.

The one complaint I have about this place is that they are always, without fail, out of something whenever we make it there. That said, the food you can get, is delicious.
