The Comeback Cafe has been around for about 20 years and I've been coming back here for just about that long. I keep looking for other Vietnamese restaurants in the East Bay, but it's hard to beat this one for its flavors. I usually go there after the lunch crowds to have a relaxing bowl of pho, a sandwich or one of Mom's rice plates. I've yet to be disappointed.
My sandwich literally came with everything I asked for them not to put on, plus I wasn't given anything that came with my combo . very unapproachable staff, very unfriendly , except to other Viet customers. but maybe its because I'm white which is pretty shady. not an establishment I'll be going back to
So glad that a new eatery has opened in the neighborhood. I had the tofu and mushroom banh mi with their strawberry green tea and everything was delicious! The prices are very affordable for the quantity and quality of the food, and I will definitely be making this a regular spot.
One of the better options in the area for food. Its a small, with a very hole-in-the-wall feel, but only in the very best way. Food tastes fresh and feels authentic. I’ve noticed the sidewalk sign for the last few weeks and finally stopped in today. I had the vermicelli noodle plate with chicken. It was delicious! Everything tasted very fresh and it came with a good portion of sauce on the side. Will be back.
I love the shrimp spring rolls. I love the Vietnamese sandwiches. I love the flavorful drinks. This place is family owned, and now open again every day. Really nice people and the lowest prices in town these days.
I really enjoy coming to this place. It is very convenient to my location and serves excellent food. The staff are hard working and friendly. Definitely will recommend to others!
