When we arrived, I inquired whether we should wait for table service or order at the counter. The girl behind the counter told us we could sit anywhere, and someone would come to take our order. After several minutes of waiting, my wife asked again if there was table service available. Once more, the girl assured us that someone would be with us shortly.
More time passed, and the second girl at the counter just stared at us, completely ignoring our presence. Frustrated, we decided to get up and leave. I considered expressing my dissatisfaction to the staff, but I realized it would be pointless. If they were willing to overlook us, why would they care if we walked out?

It’s been a few months since I last visited this location. I've been to other branches, including their original spot in Wellesley, but this particular one always brings us joy. For several years, we used to come at least once a week. I love the ambiance and the long communal table. My favorite dish here is the lasagna, but I recently read a review about the meatball sub, and I can confirm it’s a must-try. I think the reviewer who left was a bit dramatic. Sure, the kids can be noisy, but it’s not enough to make me want to leave. I really miss dining here regularly and then heading over to Bubbling Brook afterward. Also, parking is a breeze.
The portion size was quite small—only half of a sub. It appears to be exactly half of what is depicted on the menu, which shows two halves. The same issue occurred with three other sandwich options they offer. It feels like a classic bait and switch! Now I remember why we rarely come here, despite it being less than a mile away.
Quiet place, it was after the lunch hour rush.The food was good, and the service was fine, and prices were excellent. I got the cheese pizza and a brownie for dessert. I was very satisfied

Moved to the Boston suburbs from NJ, and Comella’s pizza has been our saving grace. By FAR the best pizza we have tried in the are!

Pizza was decent. Subs are good. Chicken fingers absolutely sucked.
