Common Ground Coffee Cupcakes

Love this place! The cupcakes were so most and delicious, and the atomsphere highlights a familial hearth with the warm furniture, yet soft decor. It’s also very cheap compared to the average coffee store and the cupcakes are all very solid, very worth every buck you spend on it! It’s super reminiscent of those small cafes you would find New York City, and visit for quick small treats like these. I got “The Ballerina” which can be dauntingly sweet, however coupled with the coffee it all balanced out. I give them 3.5/5 seperately, but a 5/5 all together. My bf and I were in Renton for some errands and found this coffee spot! Their menu has a large variety of drinks, food, and LOTS of different cupcake flavors. There’s something there for everyone. I got the passionfruit tea freeze, bagel sandwich and an ube cupcake. They were ALL super tasty. Another thing I want to point out, is how happy the people were to serve us and all the customers coming in. It got pretty busy, maybe 10 other customers total after we ordered, and they were just consistently happy to serve everyone. I had an amazing experience here and I will definitely be back when I’m in Renton.

This charming family-owned café offers a delightful selection of coffee, smoothies, cupcakes, and various baked goods. The owners, a lovely couple, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. While the husband takes care of the counter, the wife decorates cupcakes to order, adding a personal touch. It's a great little place that we're sure to visit again soon!

I visit this place at least once a week. They serve the best chai tea lattes in town! Everything is delicious if you’re in the mood for a baked treat—cookies, cupcakes, oat fruit bars, you can’t go wrong! It's a family-run business with really nice people. In my opinion, this place is quite overpriced, and the cupcakes are just average. The prices listed are around $10. If you decide to visit, I recommend trying the smoothies; they’re reasonably priced. I get that the costs are high for a reason, but honestly, charging $5 for a cupcake seems excessive.

New favorite cupcake! Frosted to order? I have never seen that before... Beautiful and delicious. Soft and moist cake, luscious creamy buttercream. Friendly owners and great ambience. Loved relaxing here with a coffee and cupcake this rainy afternoon.

A real cafe! Friendly people serving authentic espresso coffee and delightful cup cakes in a true cafe environment. Be warned, the ‘large’ cup is bigger than the large you get elsewhere in the world.

We've been here a few times. Staff is always very friendly. Food and drinks are good. Reasonable prices. Cupcakes are delicious. Good spot for a quick breakfast in Renton.

A carrot cake cupcake and coffee, what a great afternoon treat! Sweet but not too sweet, perfect. Friendly helpful staff in a nice atmosphere made this a great stop.
