YUM. Ok so first things first, the ambiance of this place is delightful. It is tastefully decorated and really cool without being pretentious (hard combo to master in my opinion). Nice design, maximizes space, sound level is fine, yes, yes, yes. There is nicely refined menu with some really unique options that all sound mouthwatering. Our server was lovely and helpful and very willing to go grab us tastes of beers and answer our questions. We got the potato gnocchi for an appetizer and it was the best form of potato I have ever put in my mouth. I had the chicken dish and my bf had the burger meal. We became obsessed with his fries, they were delicious hint of truffle oil in there maybe? And...

I went to Commonwealth Bistro for my friends birthday brunch. I made the initial reservation on Resy and called in order to increase the number of people. I spoke with the owner who was lovely and very easy to work with. This made me even more excited to go there. We were in a private room upstairs that was perfect, but the tables were set up very awkward for our group of 15. We ended up rearranging it ourselves. The overall service was a little slow, but that's to be expected with a larger group. I ordered their house mimosa which was not my favorite it was very sweet and had an unappetizing piece of sorbet in it. The food, on the other hand, was FANTASTIC. Being a farm to table restaurant,...
I was in brunch heaven when a group of friends came here to celebrate a birthday. The decor and set up of Commonwealth Bistro has a warmth to it that reminds me of a cozy home. Since we had a larger party, we were seated in a private room upstairs, which worked out great! I will say I was a little disappointed they didn 't do mimosa pitchers, or even orange juice and champagne. I tried the pink mimosa , which had a ball or sorbet in tHe middle of champagne, it was good but didn 't look too appetizing. It was hard for me to choose what to get to eat because everything sounded so tasty! I decided on the goetta sandwich, and it did not disappoint! It was a big sandwich and easily shareable if y...
I stopped here for brunch. Adorable, charming and quite quaint. Limited and unique menu. I choose French onion soup. Flavorful. The had a rich broth, and laced with plenty of onions. It was served with croutons with melted cheese. This was the best I have ever had. I choose a local salad. The dressing was a light vinaigrette. The only disappointment was the presentation. It appeared as if the forgot some on the plate. They should add something on the platesuch as crackers or use a smaller plate(See picture). The salad was light and enjoyable. The vinaigrette complimented the fresh spring mix avocados chicken and pickled onions. The pimento cheese was tasty but they should have provided a cou... Reserva una mesa ahora
I was here with a big group, so was able to share a ton of different dishes. Everything was cooked well, and I loved how different the open kitchen concept was. However, some of the dishes had too much going on. I have an appreciation for simple well made dishes, but most of these plates tried to incorporate too much, and the identity of the dishes became confusing. We ordered: herbed potato gnocchi, Martin hill farm pierogi, confit duck leg, Kentucky fried rabbit, hill farms chicken, and steak frites. The gnocchi and pierogi are both examples of dishes that were too complex, where a simple presentation with fewer ingredients would've been better. My favorite was the buttermilk biscuits it w...
We had a nice brunch. Food was very slow. Restaurant was not busy. This was not a problem because we were enjoying our afternoon. Drinks were good I had The Venetian Way and a Bloody Mary both were excellent. My spouse had Basil Hayden Bourbon at a very reasonable price and a very nice pour. My husband ordered the Grits and I ordered the rabbit hash. Eggs were over done but hash and grits both very good They gave us a desert for free since we waited. Chocolate tart was good, but it was old, he he said it was from New Years. But the taste was an old taste to it.
Their offerings sounded wonderful so much so that it was difficult to figure out what I wanted to order. Decided on a grain bowl with quinoa, lentils, egg, avocado and local veggies. It was as delicious as it sounded. Filled me up and felt very healthy at the same time. Tried someone else's chicken and waffle which was pretty good, too. I wouldn't mind trying some of their other selections another time.
Elizabeth is great!!! I only have one problem: Shakshuka is supposed to have eggs. I didn't care much for my dish since 1. There was no eggs and 2. Don't say hummus on your menu if you're giving fried chick peas. Overall the dish was delicious besides aforementioned. Definitely wanna try dinner, hubs loved his club sandwich and we both enjoyed our delicious Pink Mimosas as well as Liz's company. Reserva una mesa ahora
Our first time dining on the roof top patio. A very pleasant atmosphere . Wednesday is fried chicken night. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, and corn bread. It was all delicious. Be sure and ask for the house made hot sauce!
