3.5 stars. Food was a 4 star. Side dishes were great,tasty and plentiful. The 1st meat platter we had was only a 3 star due to a new chef over cooking and over seasoning the food. 2nd platter we had was 4star. so thanks to the regular chef. Drinks were cheaper than expected. I gave a 3.5 star rating because when the bill came it had 40£ worth of other peoples drinks and food added to it. The issue was sorted out without any problems, so thanks for that. We will visit again though. Worth the visit
We were without power and gas at home, so we decided to order a takeaway Sunday dinner, as we used to enjoy it years ago. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst meals I've ever had, and it wasn't cheap either. The meat was extremely dry, and everything else was equally disappointing. I couldn't find a single positive, and even the staff were unhelpful when I called or went to pick up the order. I hope they get their act together, or it will be another great pub gone.

Polystyrene takeaway trays It's 2022 and I find it so off putting that many companies care so little about the environment that they still use Polystyrene trays. Great food spoilt. I personally will NEVER be a returning customer of anywhere still using polystyrene. Which is a shame.
