Confections Cake Co.

When I first walked in I was mesmerized by the artwork displayed all over the walls. They have board games available. In the bathroom they have a jellyfish made from plaster on the wall. The ambiance of confections cake is above par. There were so many food items I'd love to try, I can't wait to go back. The females that were working were so friendly. Only complaints is the seating, not weight friendly, in terms of if you have a thiccc booty it will be very uncomfortable to sit on, and depending on how tall you are, your feet won't touch the ground. I would be able to spend more time if the seats were different.

I have purchased cakes twice now, after the first cake was less than my expectations I thought I would give them another try. Unfortunately same result, the cakes both times where verypleasing to the eye, but that’s where the buck buck stopped. The buttermilk icing tasted like lard and left a film on your mouth, it was also over an inch thick on the outside and between the layers. The cake was very bland without texture or body, very”thin” falling apart. Definitely my last purchase at this bakery, $55 for a 6 inch cake that a $10 cake mix from Sobeys would have out performed, lesson learned.

We got our wedding cake and mini cupcakes from here and everything was absolutely delicious! It was probably the best cake I have ever had and it looked gorgeous too! We also got mini cupcakes for our guests and all of the flavor combinations were amazing! Everyone was so impressed with the desserts at the wedding!

My husband and I ordered custom Rapunzel cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday in June 2023. Not only were they beautifully decorated and exactly what we asked for, they were delicious. Would definitely order from Confections Cake Co again!

Beautiful and warm space that has the neatest decorations! The food was great and staff was lovely. We took home the cakes in a jar for a later treat, and it was amazing! Will be back again :
