We used to drive miles to Martigue to get our ice cream fix, but sadly that shop shut down. But now we have discovered Clavell which is almost across the st. From the Marie in Carpentras. There is convenient pay parking in a lot...on the left side of the town ring road as you approach the turn for Cavaillon. The pistache ice cream is not kelly green..a signal that it is artificially colored..it is the perfect dull, almost gray color and tastes like you have the real nut in your mouth. The coconut is full of flakes..what a treat. I haven t had every ice cream in Provence, but I can't imagine anything better than the homemade ice cream at this venerable candy shop..the place to get berlingots,...
this caffe in the city carpenters is a place to come. here you will find delicious fruits that come as small juicy mandarins or plant abricots melon and maronite glaciers the season. the suggestion after home made medaillen with many perfumes as celestial or pistache. vanille or mandarin. in winter they can taste typical bakery aid of the couronne the roi and galette the roi one must. and in summer they make wonderful ice cream with great ingredients such as carpentras strawberry or figues or melone or even lavande. a place to come alone with friends or family!
Quand on connaît les glaces de Clavel, on va à Carpentras que pour elles.Un choix gigantesque de coupes dont la taille pourrait impressionner Obélix lui-même !De plus les parfums sont très variés et d'un goût tres fin.On retiendra aussi les berlingots, calissons, pâtés de fruits, biscuits,.... tout fait maison avec des produits sélectionnés dans la région.
Le Glacier est trop bon, il s,accorde bien avec les fruits de saison. L'accueil est excellent !!! Je regrette certaines critiques au niveau de l'accueil, je pense que certaines sont gratuites, il faut s'imaginer quand même depuis quand ils sont sur le front....;)

De beaux produits de confiserie, berlingots, glaces, nougats, chocolats, sucettes, meringues, fruits confits, donc des produits du terroir, mais accueil non professionnel, atmosphère sévère, horaires pas dignes d'une ville touristique, bref à revoir complètement
what a experience, had great ices with good environment and great service. the atmosphere was cool with live music and a great mood. the egg selection was very large with many choices. all age groups are young and old. the service was fast.
Une bonne glace avec les chaleurs c'est appréciable. Le choix est large .les produits dans la boutiques sont variés. Seul bémol la fermeture le soir en été qui est à mon avis bien trop tôt.
I have bought from this business at a series of locations and I always had friendly service and wonderful, qualitatiw high quality products. especially the macarons and berlingots!
