Two of us ordered the grilled chicken salad, which consisted of dry, rubbery chicken on top of wilted lettuce and bland, probably not-so-fresh vegetables. The other two in our party opted for the chili. As proud Texans, we enjoy our food well-seasoned, so we expected the chili to taste different from what we’re accustomed to. That said, the high bean-to-meat ratio was surprising, and there was no excuse for the chili being served cold with mediocre flavor. It wasn’t even warm enough to melt the cheese on top. I could never morally serve food like that and call it a restaurant.

There isn't much in the Island Park area, but if you find yourself nearby, definitely stop by Connie's! She is usually there to welcome and seat her guests. The food is excellent home-style cooking, and the portions are generous. I tried the Huckleberry hefeweizen, and it was fantastic! My filet was slightly overcooked, but it was still juicy and delicious. If you have the chance, be sure to ask about dessert when you place your order. You won't want to miss the limited selection of pies—they're absolutely delicious!

We absolutely love Connie's! We've dined here frequently and have never been disappointed. Every dish we tried was delicious. The hamburgers were fantastic, and the grilled cheese was incredibly tasty. My husband adored his cornbread and wanted to take a pan home! He also enjoyed his French dip sandwich. Our server was excellent, checking in on us regularly to see if we needed anything else. Additionally, we really appreciate the decor throughout the restaurant!

Wow! Everything at this restaurant was amazing! It's conveniently located right before Yellowstone National Park. The rib-eye steak was grilled to perfection—smoky, juicy, and well-seasoned. The cornbread was delightful, especially when complemented by their homemade soup. The grilled vegetables on the side were exceptional as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic too!
My husband and I shared a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich along with some fries. The service was excellent, and the food was hot and delicious. We enjoyed reading the tablecloth while waiting—it was quite entertaining. There’s also a delightful section with a variety of sweet treats.

Expected so much more from previous reviews, but just mediocre. I'm sure it was probably just a one off night.
I am completely in love with the ribs; they come right off the bone and the sauce is incredibly tasty.
