I arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 on the evening of August 28th, only to find that the frozen beverage machine was already closed for the night. This was a disappointing moment for me, as I have spent the last 15 summers in Rockaway and have always enjoyed visiting this restaurant. It is unfortunate that they have decided to give up and close early, as I believe they should make an effort to give it their all or risk going out of business. I have decided that I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

This has been a neighborhood staple for 40+ years. Local dive bar that serves what visitors may call a Pina Colada, but us locals call it a Frozen. Don't forget to add a floater to make it more potent....?

This is the best summer spot in Rockaway! The frozen pina coladas are amazing. Playing darts and listening to the jukebox make for a fun day.

Connolly’s is a must if you are coming to Rockaway Beach. Cool off with a frozen Pina Colada or a beer off the tap. Always a good time!
