"I’m well aware that your ice cream is fantastic and your chocolates are irresistible. However, during our last visit, my wife and I ordered a single scoop of ice cream, and we found the portion to be rather small. We've been loyal customers for decades, and we’re not accustomed to receiving such limited servings. All of your competitors are quite generous, and it doesn’t really cost more to provide a little extra. This is why I’m giving you four stars instead of five. Perhaps we should have mentioned this at the time, but if I were the owner, I would advise my young staff that serving small portions is not good for business."

The soda counter is a delightful experience. They offer glass dishes and cups upon request for those dining in. The whipped cream tastes freshly made, and the chocolate milkshakes are delicious. I appreciated that they provide any leftover milkshake, so it feels like you get two shakes for the price of one. The staff are very friendly; I once left my doll behind, and they kindly kept an eye on it until I returned a few minutes later to retrieve it. They serve the glass cups in a pewter holder, which adds to the charm. The ambiance is lovely, embodying a classic old-fashioned soda counter vibe.

You can tell a restaurant is truly special when you always forget to take pictures of your food, or when you find yourself waiting in a long line during Westwood's Summer Concert Series, eagerly anticipating each step that brings you closer to pure delight. Conrad's Confectionery is a must-visit gem in New Jersey. Whether you're in the mood for their homemade candies (the dark chocolate lemon is absolutely incredible) or looking to cool off with some ice cream, you can't go wrong here. Every choice is a great one at this place!

I just had the most delicious chocolate malted shake ever! I felt like such a happy kid again when I treated myself to an ice cream for lunch versus the usual ? so glad I did! The service was so friendly, it?s truly rare to see people genuinely happy to serve you, and I can?t believe how fast it was made. Conrad?s will definitely be on my list of things to do next time I am in Westwood. :
