updateAfter 5 months, nobody has tried to contact me to rectify the situation and I’m not surprised. I expected better.-The older gentlemen serving today on Wednesday the 19th at 2:54pm was so incredibly disrespectful about me having my service dog in the cafe with me. I’ve had bad customer service experiences before but this one takes the cake.Didn’t say hello, didn’t even ask me if my dog was a service dog, just completely refused me service. I visited a charming cafe and ordered a chai latte, which I found difficult to drink and ultimately could not finish. I rated it 0/5 as it tasted like dirty water with no flavor or spice, which was extremely disappointing. I decided to give them a second chance and tried their hot chocolate, which was better but still nothing special - it tasted like a typical hot chocolate mix you could make at home. The chocolate croissant and almond croissant I ordered were satisfactory and met the standards of other pastries in the area, although they could have been more buttery. Charming neighborhood cafe located near my mother's house. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. The pastries are incredibly fresh - I tried the chocolate croissant and it was perfectly soft, flaky, and delicious. I also enjoyed their iced latte with oat milk. I highly recommend this place! Excellent coffee! Contra Cafe is your great hidden local coffee shop in the little Italy. They participate in the program where you can rent a reusable mug from there location. Coffee is always on point. They have a great selection of pastries and small snacks as well. We are there a few times a week.

This is my favourite coffee shop in Toronto. It's a cute neighbourhood spot located on a quiet street that prioritizes pedestrians and cyclists. The interior space is very nicely designed and the outdoor patio along the street is quite serene. The drinks and baked goods are delicious.

Quiet neighbourhood coffee spot with great espresso and pastries. Coming here for a slice of clementine almond cake and a coffee while relaxing in the sun is always time well spent. There’s not a ton of hangout spots on residential streets in this city so this place is special to me.

Cute lil coffee spot in Christie pits! It’s quite busy even in the middle of the week but there’s quite a few tables inside. The pastries and sweets are all made in house and they’re very yummy! Today riding through the city to get downtown I took the bike route. What a lovely route. Found this place and stopped for a iced tea and scone. Definitely a great pit stop for us bicycle riders.
