During our lengthy drive home from Florida to North Carolina, we found ourselves hungry after six hours of travel and decided to stop at Cookout. They took our order promptly and delivered our hot meals without delay. The staff was friendly, and everything was correct with our order. The food was absolutely delicious! My husband particularly enjoyed the onion rings, while I savored the cheeseburger. After a week-long cruise with no decent burgers on the ship, I was thrilled to finally have a good one! Thank you, Cookout, for providing a satisfying and quick meal.
As someone from Texas, I decided to give Cook Out a try. Unfortunately, the food was quite bland with very little flavor. I had them add bacon, but it made almost no difference. When it comes to burgers, Whataburger beats Cook Out hands down, not only in size but especially in taste and seasoning. Plus, their prices are comparable once you build a meal at Cook Out.
The cooking oil needs to be changed more frequently. The portion of onion rings is too small, and the rings themselves are very tiny.

The food was delicious and the milkshake was amazing. However, it took quite some time before anyone attended the register, and I had to call out for assistance from the back. Although I was apologized to for the delay, it really shouldn't have occurred. Overall, I would give the food a 4, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 4.

Seating inside was very limited. Our order got mixed up, but they fixed it promptly without any problems. The staff was friendly, although somewhat disorganized. The food was mediocre. This was my first visit to Cook Out, and I wasn’t especially impressed.
I unexpectedly walked in with a busload of varsity baseball and softball players after the immersion area had closed. The manager came out and graciously offered to open up for us. She was very welcoming! The food was outstanding!
