Cook's Spice Rack Chili

This was my first time back to Cook's since they re-opened after COVID. My issue with the place is that the service has always been lacking. This time around, they were short-staffed. It took a while for someone to get to my table. It wasn't for lack of trying, they were just short-handed and relatively busy. I was surprised to see a couple of young girls there helping with the service that didn't seem to be of working age, but that's none of my business. I love the chili at Cook's and the food is never bad. I don't remember ever having bad food, but the service has always lacked whether it be staffing or just not able to meet the demands of the customer.

I visited this wonderful place for breakfast while in town for work, and I'm so glad we found it! The food was excellent, the service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. They even offer chili for breakfast, which my partner absolutely loved! I had a lovely conversation with the owner's daughter; she was very sweet and shared a lot of interesting information about the sauces and spices. It’s such a charming and cozy spot for a relaxing meal. We were really pleased with our experience! Thank you for everything! We'll definitely return the next time we're in Springfield! ❤️

I've been coming here for several years and have always loved their amazing chili. However, this was my first time trying breakfast, and it's now my favorite spot for breakfast in the city. The delicate beef basket I had was one of the best I've ever tasted, and everything, including the broth, was skillfully prepared. I highly recommend this place!

The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We visited for breakfast today and it was our first time at this restaurant. Everything was wonderful, and we will certainly return. We’re especially eager to try their white cheese sauce for horseshoes next time! Reserva una mesa ahora

All three guests ordered chili and we were content with our meals : service was great and cute atmosphere. There are two separate rooms to choose to sit in. Both my boyfriend and his brother also had a breakfast eggshoe and enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the eggs and veggie skillet. The vegetables were particularly delicious. The waitstaff was quite busy, but they were still really friendly. I will definitely return!

The owner and staff are fantastic. The food is served hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend it!
