TL;DR: Possibly best coffee in Queensbury, decent breakfast sandwiches, bring cash/ATM card.I would drive a couple extra miles to get my 2.50 morning coffee from Cool Bean's on Quaker Road. Somehow, their coffee's always smoother and doesn't taste at-all burnt or over-sweetened compared to many other local... shall we say... spots. I always enjoy seeing what special flavors are available each morning; their French Toast Flavor is one of my favs.The staff is friendly, prompt, and attentive to needs (I barely mentioned the cream was running low and the barista dude began refilling it), even in the face of busy caffeine-seeking mobs of people who seem to descend on the shop in waves some mornin...
The latte and sandwich were good and the waitress was friendly and the menu looked amazing, but they didn’t accept cards, and you don’t know that until after you already order. How is it 2021 and you don’t accept cards? I’m not locals so now I get your $3 atm fee plus my banks fee on top of that. Especially with the coin shortage, this is bizarre to me. Definitely a deterrent from wanting to come here. Not to mention the wait for one sandwich and two drinks was longer than it should be.
I went to cool beans today to get something for my sick lover and mistakenly forget to bring a mask. the woman who worked rudely asked me to wear a mask. I told her that I had no mask with me, at what time she refused to deliver one to me and demanded that I go without help. I have been a loyal customer at cool beans for many years and I am sad about the way I was treated. why people in these difficult times can no longer understand where we live.
came with our family on Saturday, cool beans is amazing, fresh, qualitatiw high quality food. I have to comment on the personal. james was the only one who does everything, he totally crushed it! he earned every tipp and deserves an increase, a bonus and interest in the business. the line was out of the door and james held the service prompt and friendly. go to eat, come back to the service!

The food looked great, but I couldn't order it as they don't take cards how you make it through a pandemic and to the year 2021 without a card reader, I'm not sure. I wish I could've tried something! Waited about 10 minutes to be served with no one ahead of my because there was only one employee working. I understand the world is understaffed so that wasn't a huge deal.
Amazing little local spot. The owner and other employees were so nice and welcoming. Their bagel sandwiches are delicious and so are their smoothies! Can’t go wrong with anything off of their menu.

super friendly staff, tasty eating, good choice, including vegan, fast service, great seating, good prices, lots of parking. Do you need more?
