Came to Geneva via train from Zermatt and after checking into the hotel, we were on the hunt for food. We searched the Internet for someplace close to the hotel to eat. The COOP was new to us and so being 5 minutes from the hotel by foot, we tried it. It's an ala carte approach. Each item has an extra cost. You take a tray and then circle round the restaurant ordering or selecting what you want. Hot dishes are freshly mad before you while you wait. We had steak and pasta. It was very good and extremely fresh. The cost was about 36 CHF. That was about 1/2 of the cost of a similar meal in Zermatt.
Finding a decent place to grab lunch in Geneva without totally busting your budget isn't easy, which is why we like Coop Blandonnet. The food selection, taste and quality (especially the salad bar) is very good, on a par and even better than many a traditional, sit-down-and-be-waited-on restaurant. The employees are super friendly and smiling (another rarity around town) which makes the visit even nicer. Then there's the practical side – you can pick up some groceries right after and the first few hours of parking while you're doing all this is free (and we all know how rare THAT is in Geneva).
Cela fait plus de 10 ans, que je fais mes courses dans le centre et que je me rends au restaurant Coop, et pas surprise, le Gérant tire toujours la tête, il dit jamais bonjour, au revoir, les tables ne sont pas toujours propres, voir désinfectées, et c'est devenu de la cantine civile à de la cantine militaire, produit préfini et congélation. Ceci dit, c'est pas trop cher vu la qualité. De temps en temps ce genre de cantine dépanne.
Les prix restent "corrects" pour la région, la qualité est moyenne. J'y mange régulièrement, faute de mieux et moins cher dans les parages. Le coin enfants est petit et pas très attrayant. Le personnel est aimable et souriant et les toilettes (cachées à l'étage) sont propres. Dommage que les horaires de l'ancien Manora n'aient pas été repris : le resto ferme tôt le soir et également le week-end. Dommage !

Where else but Switzerland is the produce aisle across from a massive aisle of chocolates, and an aisle of cheeses. Love shopping at this grocery store. Every item has a flag showing country or origin. And most people buy Swiss. Next to the tram stop...at Blandonnet.
Nous avons été manger là par hasard avec le conseil d'une amie. Bon rapport qualité prix. Service cafétéria pas trop mal. Bon choix et bonne présentation. Fricadelle très bonne ;-) N'hésitez pas à voter utile mon commentaire si vous avez aimé !
ambiance agreable et bonne restauration, personnel sympathique et bien servis pour un bon diner pas cher etune bonne ambiance, lors d'un malaise ils m'ont aidée jai trouver sa super.
Good food and good selection, friendly staff and very clean, reasonably priced, well worth a try, daily menu's with many Swiss specialities, great selection from the Desert counter.

Good place to get a quick lunch for a cheap price! Have plenty of day dishes, salads, pasta, pizza, quickly served.
Tout est de bonne qualité, bien servi et "avec un jolie sourire" dans un endroit ok pour un centre commercial.
