We love Coopers Hawk. But I can't recommend certain entrees at the St Charles location. A few months back I ordered the Sirloin Steak. Dry and over cooked not to mention Luke warm when put on table. I expressed my disappointment. They didn't hesitate to bring another but it was pretty much the same result. So recently I tried the Twin Pork Chop entree. Same result. Dry over cooked. Went here for 40 year anniversary. Had made reservations for outside but after seeing the seating decided we would rather sit in bar booth by window nice music and 7 booths open. Asked to change but said all booths were reserved. But all booths still open when we left. Steak medallion was so chewy had to spit it out over and over. What a seamless and wonderful experience we had last night for dinner; from the host, to our server…and whomever was our chef! Upbeat, easy-going yet tentative energy. Amazing service, high quality wine, and great food. Looking forward to coming back. Also signed up for the wine club and appreciate that bottles earned compound if you can't make it in every month. Highly recommended!
Great lunch outside with their fully covered outside patio! Wonderful food, cocktails and service! Will return in cooler weather because they have outdoor heaters, too.
Management was very accommodating and helpful. My family had a great time doing a tasting and then having dinner afterwards.
Love everything but the servers doing the wine tasting should be able to be tipped on credit card, not just cash
