We had an Open Table reservation for dinner this evening and when we arrived, the hostess not only didn’t have a reservation for us, but she hadn’t ever heard of Open Table! It was Saturday night in a busy town, so we just waited for an available table. The food was very good, especially the green fried plantains with garlic oil sauce. The Mojitos were also very good. Our server was very personable and made good recommendations for us. The prices were extremely reasonable for what we ate and drank. The Pernil was dry and there were hard unchewable pieces in the yuka. The fries that came with the Cubano were undercooked. The Tostones were rubbery, not crisp, and barely warm, and we didnt get the bread or the sauces that the site said should come with the meal. Pernil used to be my favorite thing at Copacabana. Its sad that things have changed so much.

I would not go to copa, the restaurant is badly managed.
It was our first time ordering and I have to say I was a little disappointed. The Sandwich Cubano was just ok. I had a high expectation for this place after all the good Ive heard. And then our fries ended up in the garbage as they were mushy and undercooked.

wonderful Cuban restaurant. very large portions and so delicious. loved the special homemade sauces they offer with the brot. can be used on all means of life. we'll come back when we're in mt. dora!
