Copper Canyon Grill Arundel Mills

Copper Canyon Grill is the sister or brother to one of my favorite spots, the Stanford Grill. I met up with fellow Yelper, Sylvia A., for dinner here during a recent visit back to Maryland. Copper Canyon Grill has pretty much the same menu and vibe as the Stanford Grill, so I don't have many complaints. Since I was so familiar with the menu, I decided to try something I never tried from the menu before. I got the short smoked salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. The food at Copper Canyon is generally very flavorful and consistent, but I made a mistake by ordering the steak frites. It wasn’t what I had anticipated, and given the price, the meat was a bit tough. That’s a lesson learned; I’ll stick to the menu items I know and love on my next visits, like the pot pie, meatloaf, rattlesnake pasta, and steak salad. My boyfriend had the rattlesnake pasta, which is always a hit. He also appreciates how they make his martinis perfectly every time. As for desserts, you can't usually go wrong at Copper Canyon, but unfortunately, the pumpkin ice cream they had on offer fell short—it was alright, but had a lot of ice crystals. We ordered the steak special, rattlesnake pasta, and salmon. While the salmon was a bit dry, the steak was rare on the inside but still quite tough, suggesting it wasn't the best cut of meat. However, the rattlesnake pasta, which came with chicken and shrimp, was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the location is lovely, and they had live music playing throughout our meal, which created a relaxing environment. One downside was that the lighting was a bit too dim for my liking; I prefer to see what's on my plate while I eat. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Copper Canyon to others!

I have been to Copper Canyon many times... I ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for Darius!! He is such a great waiter!!! I love the food, but he makes the experience so much better. He is very attentive even when they are super busy. HE HAS A WAY OF MAKING YOUR EXPERIENCE SO MUCH BETTER. I have tried many things there but I always go back to the chicken. It is truly the best around. I usually love the special sides they have. I have learned to eat a couple of things just by having them there for the first time (i.e. acorn squash). We entered the establishment to a 3 piece jazz ensemble. The wood finish under the defused lighting was really relaxing as well. I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta. It was pretty good. The server was excellent. He was polite, courteous and attentive. Management made sure we were ok as well. All and all it was a good experience. The staff was amazing we were served by Tim and I cannot remember the other young man's name. The head chef was there the food was top-tier. I give this restaurant 10 out of 10. Great customer service, delicious food, very nice atmosphere, and a live band. Oh and the drinks were perfection. We will return!!

The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly with great service. The dishes have refined flavors, so it's a good idea to review the menu before dining with younger adults.

It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't great. I'm not sure what the theme of the restaurant was. American eats?? I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was very doughy

Food is great and the ambiance is above average. The waiters and waitresses are very professional.
