Copper Canyon Grill is the sister or brother to one of my favorite spots, the Stanford Grill. I met up with fellow Yelper, Sylvia A., for dinner here during a recent visit back to Maryland. Copper Canyon Grill has pretty much the same menu and vibe as the Stanford Grill, so I don't have many complaints. Since I was so familiar with the menu, I decided to try something I never tried from the menu before. I got the short smoked salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. My husband and I had lunch around noon on October 9th, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant wasn't very busy, although it did get busier as we were leaving. We ordered the cornbread with jalapeños (it was tasty but crumbled when I spread butter on it), the chicken and waffles (which were absolutely delicious), and the meatloaf with string beans and bacon mac and cheese (good, though I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the meatloaf). Nate kindly took our drink order while our server, Lisa, was busy with another table. Lisa was fantastic—very attentive and engaging throughout our meal.
I have been to Copper Canyon many times... I ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for Darius!! He is such a great waiter!!! I love the food, but he makes the experience so much better. He is very attentive even when they are super busy. HE HAS A WAY OF MAKING YOUR EXPERIENCE SO MUCH BETTER. I have tried many things there but I always go back to the chicken. It is truly the best around. I usually love the special sides they have. I have learned to eat a couple of things just by having them there for the first time (i.e. acorn squash). I recommend Copper Canyon to anyone.
This restaurant was just about four miles from my hotel, and the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic! It seemed like everyone at the bar was ordering Old Fashioneds. I opted for a Chardonnay this time, but I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town to try an Old Fashioned. The meatloaf was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all! Everything was outstanding! You should definitely check it out—you'll love it! The bartenders added such a great atmosphere too!

We entered the establishment to a 3 piece jazz ensemble. The wood finish under the defused lighting was really relaxing as well. I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta. It was pretty good. The server was excellent. He was polite, courteous and attentive. Management made sure we were ok as well. All and all it was a good experience. Loved the ambiance and the food was delicious. The ribs were some of the best we have had and the crab cakes were well seasoned with little filler. The mac n cheese and calamari could have used a little more seasoning but were still pretty good. Our waiter Jamar was very personable and attentive and just all around amazing! Can?t wait to go back!
The staff was amazing we were served by Tim and I cannot remember the other young man's name. The head chef was there the food was top-tier. I give this restaurant 10 out of 10. Great customer service, delicious food, very nice atmosphere, and a live band. Oh and the drinks were perfection. We will return!!
Iron Skillet Cornbread : It's ok it does have a hot pepper inside. Rattlesnake Pasta : I didn't take a picture not flavorful. The service was okay our waitress was great.

It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't great. I'm not sure what the theme of the restaurant was. American eats?? I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was very doughy
Food is great and the ambiance is above average. The waiters and waitresses are very professional.
