As for the pasty, it should contain potato, rutabaga, onion, garlic, and beef. Mine only had potato and beef, and was mostly dough on the inside. I understand that locals might love this place, but if you are a traveler, I would advise avoiding it at all costs.
To the team at Copperline: here’s a tip on how to make an iced mocha or latte: pour the espresso into cold milk, add ice to a separate glass, shake the espresso/milk mixture between the glasses like you would with a martini shaker, and then pour that mixture into a glass. That’s how you make an iced drink!
What an incredible restaurant! We came all the way from Wyoming and stumbled upon this charming spot, so we decided to give it a try. The new owner was incredibly friendly. We ordered the traditional pasty and loved it so much that we had to go back for more to take home! She even offered us half-baked pasties to cook for breakfast the next morning! It was a delightful experience!

As a girl from Butte, I have a deep appreciation for a good pasty! These are absolutely delicious and generously topped with gravy. They remind me of my grandmother's crust—so delicious and flaky!
Without a doubt, this is my favorite breakfast! Another top pick of mine is the meatball marinara specialty pasty. I also enjoy having a cinnamon bear alongside my coffee.
