Copperworks Brew Pub Restaurant

I ordered the roast beef dip, my Mother ordered the stir fry steak with rice. Took forever to get order. Went it came my Mom gravy had coagulated, my beef tasted like it had been frozen and then microwaved. My gravy was different than Mom but very salty. Having taken two bites of my beef I thought this is ****... sent it back to kitchen and reordered hamburg-- took WAY too long and Mom was done. At this point I realized a couple of things we had been segregated in dining room- no one else there and we were not drinking customers. So if you are going to drink somewhere- maybe this is the place??? But to eat food-- skip it, I didn't eat supper at all. Lost my appetite. Paid for Mom meal, took...

Used to go to Maddies but got tired of the menu. Came back to try again because you are one of the only pubs in the area that sells Sam Adams beer.But the new menu which is vey similar to the old one, has very few vegetarian options. Last night I had the fish and chips which were to put it mildly disgusting! The fish was dry the batter wasn't cooked through properly and raw batter isn't tasty! The chips weren't great either! If your menu is as good as you think it is then you have very low standards! I doubt I'll be eating there again! Last week I paid $9 for a starter sized Greek salad!

Second visit for lunch at Copperworks. The food is very good, fresh and tasty, great fries . They have updated a bit from the old Maddys , sense improvement is continuing, tough with the space. They are also almost ready with the brew tanks in the back so fresh draught locally made will be a big plus , as it is they have a good selection of beers on tap , Service has been excellent both times and prices are very good for the quality, will be back

Our 4th visit to copperworks since our move to Bowmanville 2 months ago. Meant to write a review earlier. We have only been for supper. Tonight, homemade cabbage and corn beef soup was the best! Wings, tasty, hubby's Rueben was a 10 out of 10 " his words, lol. My wings and salad, excellent. Server Kirsten ( spelling may be off ) cheerful and attentive, fun. Open mic, fun, so relaxed. Food is a little on the expensive side for what you get. Sandwich and a pop cost $20. Was ok, but the Caesar salad had no dressing on it. I've had the fries and sent them back. They were terrible. Not even gravy could save them. Everything took a long time and the waitress was in a bad mood all night. If it weren't for the entertainment, I'd never go back.

We stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to eat. It's a pub mostly. I ordered the fish and chips and my husband had the pot pie. Very nice fish (I'm not really a fish lover). My husband said his meal was amazing. The service was good and the staff were pleasant. I would recommend this place for good food at good prices.

I'd hoped for a craft brew pub with the title, but nothing there that was their own. Also, all the same tired decor and mostly the same menu from when it was Maddy's. Very disappointed as we only every went to Maddy's once and we won't go back to Copperworks. Just a name change. Oh, and bad Karaoke.

After a long walk through town, it was great to sit down somewhere for a rest and a good meal. And this place offered both. I ordered the Cajun wrap, and I definitely recommend it for those who want food just spicy enough to be considered hot. I enjoyed it. Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I decided to try Copperworks for St Paddys day. Nice little bar. Great service. It was busy but no problem getting a drink on time. We will go back.

Place is small but clean. Wasn't impressed with dinner for what they charge, They can't compete with Frosty John's or That's My Spot for quality and prices.
