Cora Breakfast & Lunch

Bland food and over priced for a breakfast joint. The place had a Line up this morning that extended out the door - but not because the place was packed. I suspect the owners/management were employing the same techniques clubs and other venues use to give the appearance to passers-by that their place is full of patrons and the impression that their place is extremely popular. Or perhaps, Cora's was just understaffed and simply do not have enough waitresses to work tables or enough cooks to get the food out. Cora's is known across Ontario and Quebec as a decent place to get a good breakfast.The Milton location is in a building that's about 15-20 years old previously occupied by the chain Angel's Diner. Cora's is certainly an improvement.Service at this location can tend towards being spotty. It is usually busy when I go so there is either a wait to be seated, or a wait once you've been seated to be served.As a chain, the menu is pretty generic. If you like fruit and/or eggs. You'll be alright.One thing I will say about Cora's is that your fruit is never top quality. We went to this place for breakfast because it seemed like a good idea. It was God awful....I ordered Spinach and 'cheese' Crepes with bacon & a side of hollandaise sauce.I took one bite and it was SO GROSS! There is NO way that was fresh! We had Crepes in Quebec and there was no comparison! Even the hollandaise sauce was gross. The 'cheese' in top with as like the **** processed cheese you see at Subway, those triangle things....so not REAL cheese!! Service was slow and the waitress was all over the place. 15 minutes passed between her saying she was bringing the bill and actually bringing it!!!! She was working the WHOLE restaurant!!!! Half the time we couldn't find her! Was not worth $40...

Occasionally I convince my husband to do something different for breakfast and today, against his better judgement, he agreed to go to Cora's. I really like the diverse menu and novelty dishes, but there is a SERIOUS staffing problem here. It's not the first time I've had to flag someone down to take our order. No one even came with coffee until we waited 15 minutes and I got up to tell the hostess. It was a bad sign when we were waiting to be seated (10 minutes) and saw over a dozen dishes sitting in the pick-up window with no servers taking them out. I wish this place was open past 2pm, because often we drive by and would love to stop in for a bite and it's not open. The food is excellent here - love the big plates full of fresh fruit that comes along with your meal. The sunrise(sunshine?) panini is amazing! Best breakfast in town. Far better than that greasy spoon diner on main street people keep talking about.

Met at Cora's at 10:30 AM. And were promptly seated and coffe poured in short order. Our orders taken and was impressed buy the variety of breakfast available. One could order the basic or go for a feast. Lots of fresh fruit, good coffee, eggs cooked as ordered and all in all everyone in our party was pleased.

My husband and I decided to treat our three little ones with breakfast out. Everything was great. Food was quick and there was a great selection. My daughter loved how her breakfast looked just like the picture in the menu. This is a great and affordable place to take the kids.

If you go to Cora's before 8 in the morning, you get the early bird special which cannot be beaten for price. After 8 the prices go up dramatically Reserva una mesa ahora

Good place to catch up with friends. Food serving was good but a little expensive. Ambience was nice, service was good.

Good spot for breakfast or brunch but I would not lunch here as better choices in area and I want beer with lunch
