Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. I am joining the chorus of people praising Corarima for providing an exceptional dining experience. My visit exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife. The atmosphere was inviting, and the food was truly outstanding. We started with the hummus and then shared a platter for two, allowing us to try a variety of main dishes. The lentil dishes were especially delicious, but every dish we tried was fantastic. I also enjoyed a flax seed drink, which was a delightful surprise. The homemade bread was a highlight of the meal, and learning about its origins from the owner added to the overall experience.
This was something completely different, that we'd never even thought of. We were bought a gift voucher, so we went along, and we was not disappointed. The food and drink is absolutely spectacular, and the service and speed of the chef if second to none ! We have already booked to go again. The combination of spice and flavours are amazing. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and delicious food. The highlight of our experience was the attentive and accommodating owner who served us. It was truly inspiring. We will definitely return when we are back in Wakefield. The service, food, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. Recommended dishes include the Combination Platter for Two and Injera. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, providing a truly personal experience. The food is delicious and it's great that most of the options are vegan and gluten free. For those with dietary restrictions, almost everything is gluten free and any exceptions are clearly marked on the menu. I had a wonderful dining experience for dinner.
1st time, beautiful restaurant, attentive staff, the food was new to me but it was good, spicy but not hot, had the sharing platter which fools you, thought it wouldn't be enough but it was ample for 2.
