I have been ordering from Corato for over twenty years. They make the absolute best Sicilian pizza! I used to take the bus home across the street from them and I could smell and would crave their pizza. If the bus was running late, I'd run across and get a slice to take home for dinner. Everyone would stare at me on the bus wishing they had a slice. I had forgot about them for a while but now I work close by and they deliver. Everything is always perfect and so delicious. If you need to order a six foot hero, please try them. I've ordered it twice in the past few months and it's awesome. They get their bread made from Catania bakery (which is an unbelievably great place for bread and Italian cookies, and only five blocks away, also on Fresh Pond Road . I don't understand any of the bad reviews since I have never had a bad experience and their food is the best! Be your own judge and try them, you won't be sorry. (Go for the Sicilian slice . :

This was probably my 5th time ordering from this place. It?s descent pizza? nothing terrible or great about it. Just convenient and many options to choose from. I used Slice to order. Tonight I placed an order and when the expected delivery time came and went I finally called them? they said they tried calling me and when I didn?t answer they left my pizza outside? I did miss the call but the common sense thing to do is ring the buzzer!!! The picture attached is where they left my pizza. On a super busy/high traffic street, in front of a busy bus stop. It say there 20 minutes. Then when I called they blamed me for not answering my phone and refused to reimburse my $25? take the risk for mediocre pizza if you want? learn from my mistake.
The pizza is always fresh, the service is fast. We love their Sicilian pizza; have to try the head to Sicily! This place is a Queens spider. Generations of local children are here for pizza parties and now that we are adults, we choose to come here. You have so many different options on the menu and stay fairly late open. All in all, what does a community do if not the local family pizzeria?
