We booked in for a last minute lunch and began with a cellar door tasting and a glass of red overlooking the most spectacular gardens and picturesque views. Wow these Adelaide wineries are amazing! We were visiting from the UK and visited a few wineries for lunch during our stay. Cariole's was our finale with a table for 14 including 6 (fortunately well behaved) children. It was a glorious sunny Sunday and we were seated on the terrace with amazing views. The waitress was fabulous and very on the ball. There was only the set menu option but the younger children were offered either chicken nuggets or fish goujons with chips. The wines are all different varieties and very out there. Not to our liking. We went on a Saturday and it was totally over crowded. There were 3 servers and we couldn't get a drink between the 2 of us! We stood for ages and ages and it became boring. After a few wines which we didn't like, we left before getting through half their tasting menu. A very small tasting room. In the past we have been offered olives to taste but not today which was a bit disappointing. Couldn't wait to leave to get to our next spot. Wanted to have lunch there but the menu sounded very wierd and not to our liking. Nice views though.

Visited Coriole today and there wine is amazing. Have been a fan of this company for a while now but never visited. The staff and very friendly and knowledgable. But the wine speaks for it's self..
Wonderful foods and wines. Beautiful atmosphere and setting. 18 hpurs braised ox tails. Surrounding by valeyards. Own garden vegetables and nicely cook. TheMullet fresh and juicy.
A pleasant lunch in the gardens of Coriole on a perfect sunny day complimented by a drop of white.We tried duck and a prawn and pork surf and turf.The former was delicious!

Located in a old converted cottage and open until 5pm, what more can I ask for on a lazy Sunday? The food-wine pairing is quite an experience.
