This place was a ton of fun!! Headline of my review: the place is a bit overpriced overall in general, but the blind wine tasting was so much fun and worth it, but will skip the meal next time. I came here with my girlfriend and another couple from out of town and the restaurant interior definitely impressed. The interior was very trendy, busy, but we still felt like we were able to maintain a level of intimacy between the four of us and didn't need to shout to hear ourselves. The wait staff was nice very attentive, but certainly let us take our time which was really appreciated, especially seeing how busy they were. Attended one of Laura's wine dinners last night. Haven't been here in a while and so nice to see how well the restaurant/bar has bounced back since pre Covid. Nice vibe, great music, it's a nice sized bar with decent seating areas where you can find a place for your party without feeling squished in. The dinner was great and Laura is always a wonderful host, making wine education and experience approachable and enjoyable. Really pleased with the food and wine pairings and was excited to learn that she plans to add many of the dishes to her next menu. We were looking for a bar to close the night off after dinner and people recommended in this place We decided to get the Japanese nights cocktail, a montepliciano rose , fries and the house ricotta. The bar tender is probably as good and professional as they come he recommended to go with this cocktail , and this was just an incredible choice . It was One of the best I've had . The Italian rose was also very good . The house made ricotta was very good but we prefer a less smooth texture . The house cut fries were yummy and felt like they were cut by hand The decor and atmosphere was great , and the bartender was , again, just fantastic Recommended !
Recommend highly! Our school had an alumni holiday reception in early December. The food was delicious and the wine was superb. It has such an inviting atmosphere and ambiance, and a convenient location, too. Sarah, our host, and Vincent, our server, went above and beyond all night long to give us special attention and outstanding service. Our guests were so happy. Their prices are extremely reasonable. We will definitely come back and book our next event here. What a great night! (p.s. I stayed afterwards to have dinner with a friend. That was outstanding, too!
A sneaky great spot for happy hour. I met my group of 6 here around 4:30 for some cocktails and it was the perfect mix of not too loud, cool and laid back vibes, great drinks, and little bites. I stuck to wine $10 during happy hour wooop wooop) and our groups shared a few helpings of the little ricotta bites. Delish and tasty lil ricotts, good wine, great space. Go sit at the bar, get a table like we did, whatever you do should turn out well. If I find myself in the area again looking to grab a drink, this is where I am going.
Was there for a friend's bridal shower. Space was lovely and a great size for a small group, and the food was absolutely delicious! I don't drink alcohol, so I can't say whether the selection was exceptional, but others around me seemed to be enjoying their glasses, and we did get a great intro to the different bottles that were served, which I found very interesting. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I would go back just for the food.
