My friend and I came to this restaurant yesterday for a meal, and Janice was an absolutely incredible and delightful server. Despite being short-staffed, she managed to handle at least 10 tables all by herself, greeting everyone with a smile and positive attitude. Although there was a minor mistake with my friend's order (which wasn't a big issue for us), Janice went above and beyond by bringing us some cookies and ensuring that we left happy. She truly created a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant, and even though there are three other Corkys locations closer to my house, I would make the drive just to experience her exceptional service again. My family and I were here for dinner. That was my dad's favorite place to eat. He loved the local mood and the food a lot. He would always get the salmon. Had a piece of cake even after his meal. His favorite server was Larry. We would try to eat there on nights, we knew Larry was working. We all loved his positive attitude and inviting performance. I don't know if Larry will see this or remember my family. But since we often eat there, I thought you should know why we're not back. Unfortunately a few weeks after the last dinner of our families there my father died and it was hard to return. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of menu items and has a clean facility with welcoming staff. I particularly enjoyed the hobo skillet, it was delicious. However, the biscuits and gravy were not served hot enough, which affected my overall enjoyment. On the other hand, the cream cheese and raspberry filled French toast was absolutely delicious. While the breakfast for two was a bit pricey, it was not unreasonable given the quality of the food.
The waitress was as eager as loud. I ordered breakfast. The food was boiled and the toast I saw that she threw it on the table with her hands and saturated it with so much butter it was unbeatable. Last time simply not clean and eating with you to take hands is 100% disgusting. As I have seen from my table, if changes are not made, someone will really get sick... We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious. Our server, Ashley, was exceptional - one of the best we've had in a while. She was funny, attentive, and very friendly. We enjoyed the strawberry lemonade, turkey bacon and avocado croissant sandwich, Cobb salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and a piece of cake to take with us. Everything was absolutely delicious.
The perfect, classic breakfast spot. Portions were great at least a pint of orange juice, four solid slices of bacon, plenty of hashbrowns to soak up my three sunny side up eggs. The staff all seemed genuinely happy to be at work. My new go to stop on the way back to Vegas from Mexico!
