Just back from Lanzarote and this was our favourite place to eat….. particularly the garlic mushrooms and Margarita pizza….. the flavours in them were absolutely beautiful and well worth trying if you go. The owners work very hard, are very friendly and it’s just a brilliant little place. Why people find the need to come on here moaning that the owners are rude and ignorant is just beyond me, particularly when it’s untrue. Perhaps it was a case of them returning the rude tone? Plenty of it with Brits thinking they own the place….. just a thought lol Highly recommended and we will definitely go back when we’re next in Matagorda.
Me encanta la ensalada del café de la esquina, con muchos aceitunas, feta, etc. La he probado un par de veces. Mi pareja no se quejó de su tortilla, así que debe haberla disfrutado porque ese hombre puede quejarse. Me decepcionó mucho que cerraran al día siguiente, probablemente por sus propias vacaciones. No entiendo las críticas negativas, siempre ha estado concurrido durante el día de todos modos. El camarero no es demasiado amigable, pero no es grosero, y el hombre mayor que me trajo la comida en todas las ocasiones que he comido allí siempre parece sorprendido cuando sonrío y le doy las gracias.
Me and my husband walked to Matagorda from Puerto del carmen, on the way back we stopped here for a drink. Wish we hadn’t bothered the man serving was surly to the point of rudeness. We being typical Brits too polite to say cancel order and move on. We waited for a large and small beer and had it dropped on the table without a backward glance. If someone is taking your money the least they can do is raise a smile and speak to you. This man never uttered a word to us except to ask for 5 euro when paying the bill. Definitely would not be back.
Hmm. Tres alitas de pollo vendidas como tapas por €5.90, ¡qué es esto! La pizza de pepperoni por €15, sabía como si viniera directamente de un paquete, seca y sin sabor, muy poca cantidad de queso. Tenía hambre así que me comí la mayor parte.

Really good time spent with my husband! Very friendly staff, great service and good cocktails Live music and great atmosphere! Lots off dancing and good laughs! The tapas great as well!
Food was shocking cheese slices on top of nachos put in the microwave. Side salad with a few chunks of feta which was 14 euros waste of money
Fuimos a almorzar hoy. Fue la peor experiencia de bar/restaurante de nuestra semana. Muy caro, servicio poco amigable, no vale la pena.
Had nachos it was made with cheese slices absolutely shocking salad was awful 14 euros more like a side salad

Good food at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Great views. Would definitely come again. Worth a visit.
