Tonnes of choice on the menu. Ordered the seafood sharer platter which was easily enough for two. Great food and everything tasty. Fairly quiet for midweek lunches and glad it remains open. Heard an old lady nearby ask for a few chips, she was promptly told to either choose a portion or none at all obviously you could treat that as a request for a portion or suggest she might have some of the husbands if you were literally talking about 3 chips I thought there could be a bit more subtlety than that, but otherwise excellent service and food.

Lovely dinner. We had a couple of sharing platters for mains. A couple of steaks and a Persian lamb main. Wife had a pudding and it was lush. Good to have Robinsons cider on tap. I have eaten here a few times now and never disappointed. Seems to do a good trade while not feeling busy. Proper Pub with great food in The country with good friendly service from owners. Keep up the good work.

Joined some girlfriends for mid week drinks and decided to share their seafood platter. Absolutely delicious. We had lovely private seating on their mezzanine, with big comfortable armchairs and were exceptionally well looked after by one of their delightful waitresses. Wonderful evening …. thank you.

arrived without booking on sunday lunch, they thankfully did their best to fit us in, even if we did have to wait a little. The portions were just the right size, didnt leave us too full, and not hungry either. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good value and well cooked food with the best chips I've had in a long time. Pleasant decor and friendly, helpful service. The roast beef on Sunday was very well cooked.

Excellent food and great service. We were very impressed that one of the staff came running after we had left to tell us we had overpaid. That's honesty for you.

My family and I ate here for dinner this evening and our meal was very nice! Lovely setting and atmosphere, staff also very friendly, highly recommend!
