Not the best, limited selection of food products compared to other Costa's. Often get orders wrong despite having to repeat yourself when ordering. Manager can be rude at times and has an attitude. Can't seem to keep the good staff. Noisy, often Can't get a table at times due to people with laptops and paperwork spread out over tables for four, while nursing a bottle of water for hours on end. Not good if you've arranged a catch up with friends, or college students taking up tables without buying anything. Staff are too scare to say anything. Always seem to have new staff being trained causing long queues. Food not heated properly and luke warm drinks. As I said, not the best. Wouldn't recom...
I ordered a small coffee, but the staff gave me cold milk without asking first. When I realized the coffee was cold, I went back to exchange it but was rudely told off by the staff with a lecture on how people drink black coffee. Good customer service would involve asking the client if they would like warm milk when it's requested. As someone who works at a coffee bar, I have never experienced such rude service before.
My wife and I often visit Costa for coffee before or after running errands. Today, we were extremely disappointed. My wife ordered hazelnut cappuccinos for both of us, but did not receive them as requested. Additionally, we wanted to enjoy our drinks in the cafe, but were provided with takeaway cups instead. The person in front of us also received their order incorrectly.
I stopped in to do some work and enjoy a coffee. The coffee was good as expected, but unfortunately the staff seemed unfriendly and did not provide much acknowledgement. This lack of customer service makes me hesitant to return, especially since I typically like Costa as a brand.
