It was fine but I would much prefer support a local independent coffee shop. Rockfield Centre is a 5 min walk from Costa and has an excellent cafe with a kids play area and superior coffee using milk from Wee Isle Diary (Isle of Gigha) . Plus the centre is community run. Costa itself wasn't a great customer experience. Staff don't seem to want customers beyond 4pm despite 5pm being closing time. They ask everybody who is sitting in with their coffee to leave at 4.30pm. They are more concerned with chasing out paying customers than (for example) ensuring it is only paying customers that use their toilets. people barging past those waiting to collect their coffee order so they can use toilets...
Decided to pop in for a hot chocolate before boarding the train home. Cafe had quite a few empty tables. We sanitised our hands and waited to be seated...and waited and waited, while two waitresses practically ignored us. I eventually stepped forward and asked a waitress if we could be seated. She abruptly asked if we had sanitised then took our contact details. I then asked if it was table service or if I ordered at the counter. Joined the queue at the counter and ordered. The hot chocolates and carrot cake was brought to the table. Both were very nice though a bit on the costly side compared with other places we have visited. I have taken note of some of the reviews . I have to say my experience was wonderful. In particular the lad behind the counter was highly professional especially when I asked him about potential allergic ingredients. Yes the store was unorganized however their extremely short staffed. My latte was amazing the best I have had the service was really good so well-done to the lad who served me gold medal. It's far to easy to make judgements based on reviews especially trip advisor where anyone can make up anything. As far as I'm concerned this staff member was extremely switched on so thank you to him. I will be back and if you haven't had a Costa blue berry muffin I suggest you try it
Horrible customer service, went with my son on the 14th of September at 4:45pm and the Justin Bieber wannabe with the face all over his face had no problem on interrupting the making of our coffee, that he has already ringed up on the till to start chatting and making a take away coffee to one of his friend that was leaving the place. Really disappointing. Costa shouldn’t tolerate this type of behavior from a careless employee.

We recently visited this restaurant and had a great cup of coffee, as always. We felt sorry for the staff, who were dealing with difficult customers in the current circumstances. Some customers were trying to avoid hand sanitizing or wearing masks, making things challenging for the staff.
The restaurant is conveniently located near the ferry terminal and train station. The coffee is delicious, and we enjoyed the Marks and Spencer porridge with fruit for breakfast - it was fantastic! The staff is friendly, even when they are busy. The gingerbread latte is also superb.
James and Alison were excellent hosts at this busy event. They took great care of us, and we really appreciate their support for our veterans fundraiser. A huge thank you to all the staff!
Went in here on a day my friend and I were exploring Oban. Nice view out to the water and palm trees. Drinks were lovely as usual for a Costa establishment.
