I’m based in Torbay, and rarely visit Plymouth because of work commitments etc. However, I had a week to myself, which is why I decided to return to Plymouth and was the first time since the weekend before Christmas and glad I did. I wanted somewhere to stop for a late-ish lunch and knew I wanted to go to Costa, but could not decide which one due to there being many in this city. I chose this one as the atmosphere seemed nice. The staff, including the young lady who served me were the nicest I’ve met and were very full of life and cheerfulness. They had EXACTLY what I wanted in stock and had it ready for me within a couple of minutes of me paying!! Seating was very well spaced, so I felt rea...

I wish Costa Coffee franchises were more fun and a bit less expensive. This one is a bit bigger than mist in Plymouth and there is more space allocated on the pavement for sitting outside when there weather is mild. But it’s a bland uninteresting way to kill time. The site would be good for a good quality hot and cold food cafe with wine and beer, maybe along the lines of a relaxed brasserie were you could linger over a value lunch with a half decent drink for a chunk of time. As it is you have to gaze across at a defunct pound shop, the clearance sale at the doomed department store and the trailing groups of European language students milling around aimlessly for lack of entertainment or ac...

This cafe isn’t as nice as some of the other Costas in Plymouth.....it seems rather basic looking, even though it was the latest one to appear on the High Street. Anyway we like Costa coffee so decided, as we were passing to go in. My daughter queued up for coffees and muffins while I attempted to find a table that didn’t have mess and rubbish on the floor around it! Also many seats were stained and dirty which was rather off putting. The coffees were good, although the muffin wasn’t as fresh as I have had at other Costas. The tables were being cleared quite quickly, in fact the young man cleared ours while we were still drinking our coffees! Shame he didn’t look at the floor!

I will never return to this restaurant. I wish I could give it zero stars. Let me begin by addressing the issues with the cleanliness of the staff. Since when is it acceptable to serve food while checking your phone? Since when is it okay to have untrimmed and dirty nails while handling food? The table was covered in dirty cups and plates. The list of problems goes on and on. I place the blame on the management, as I am sure the manager is aware of these issues but chooses to ignore them. I will not be returning to this restaurant and wish good luck to those who do. Reserva una mesa ahora

Staff were extremely helpful in helping me find a drink and extremely kind also. I ordered a kinder hot chocolate and it was ready within minutes. When I went to drink it, it was the perfect temperature, not too hot, and not cold either. The baristas could not have been more kind and they even added extra sprinkles to my drink. Absolutely amazing service and friendly people too, worth a visit.

We had a while to wait for our train home and decided to stop here for a coffee, which was around 5:30 pm, the toilets were not well kept and used crockery was left on tables. The service was good and the coffee up to Costa's normal standard, the state of the place could be due to it being later in the day, however it did let this down, which was a shame

Costa Coffee has a number of Outlet in and around the Plymouth Area, this one in the City Centre is located in an ideal position and one of the larger Coffee Shops. Standard Coffee Snack Menu Prices as you would find in the majority of Costa Outlets. Good Service, Good Prices and most importantly Good Coffee.

I stopped by this restaurant on a Monday afternoon with my daughters for coffee, and I was disappointed to find that it was not very clean. Many of the tables were dirty, the floors were disgusting, and there were bits of food on the chairs. This was definitely the dirtiest Costa I have ever been to. Reserva una mesa ahora

Standard costa, cappuccino latte. Sat at a window seat with dirty cups cutlery, which was removed but they never came back to wipe the table which was covered. So had to drink of the tray. Doesn’t feel as welcoming as offer costas
