We ordered from the breakfast menu. I had French toast which consisted of two thin white bread slices with a bit of non crispy bacon. It was passable but costly for what it was. Daughter and friend ordered full breakfast, we asked for no mushrooms we got mushrooms. On the vegetarian breakfast the spinach was so full of garlic. Both had a lot left on their plate. We spent most of the time trying to stop flies from resting on our plates. We were sitting indoors. So it was ok but would not go again for breakfast. Fair to mention we were there when they were soon to change to a lunch menu so maybe we got what was left.
We strongly recommend Cote Brasserie Amersham and would have rated it outstanding in every way if the service of drinks had been marginally faster. But then we were there on a busy day and at a busy time so perhaps are being a little harsh. We were happy to wait for our excellent food but would have liked to have our orders taken and drinks served quicker so that we had something to do while waiting. We shall definitely be returning soon but not at a peak time.
Busy Friday night. We ordered off main menu. Desert prices expensive for what they are but generally a good place to go. Parking easy outside or in car park nearby. Staff pleasant and helpful. We ordered calamari starter which was nice and a combination of main menus. All around everyone was happy with their food order .
the waitress was nice, other workers talked about drinking, working, drinking. steak good, chips terrible, no truffle taste and spinach irrigation and only all stiel. the toilets were dirty, like the tables. cutlery was plotted directly on the dirty table and not on serviettes. overpriced and subdued. I recently had lunch at Cote and the best word to describe this fantastic restaurant is amazing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very polite. We will definitely be returning thanks to all the hardworking employees who made our dining experience a perfect 10 out of 10.
