We hoped to eat at this restaurant with our (well behaved! young children, having walked past it on the fountains walk. We arrived at about 7:15pm on a Friday evening and the tables were all empty. Unfortunately the waiter was extremely rude and unwelcoming, and seemed very unwilling to seat us despite there being lots of space. After a lot of bolshy questions he did eventually allow us to sit down and went to get some menus but we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we left, and had a lovely meal elsewhere (with lovely waiting staff! .
We ate at Cote Jardin at the recommendation of Le Lavandin. It was fabulous. The ribs were coated in a caramelized glaze, and we were told to get them first, but I wanted to come back for other meats we di not get the chance, but will next time! We also ordered a bowl of fresh cut vegetables which was more than we could have eaten (but we tried) all great. The setting is very relaxing and eaceful and there is good value for the money.
Perfect! We were warmly and effectively welcomed. The rib and the bath were tender! House sauces are also delicious. In dessert, we cracked for the Nana jar and the lemon greedy: and we loved it
Not a good night. Picanha not tender at all, bearnese sauce insipid for me, pluma not cooked enough despite the express request for my sister-in-law. I kept a great memory...

Wonderful evening. Delicious food. Pretty setting. Fantastic service. Recommend a visit if you are in Pernes. They are also open during the day and sell ice-cream!
Excellent small quality restaurant as it is more difficult to find, offering hearty, original and very good dishes. Very friendly staff.
