We have eaten at the Lac twice now since the new owners took over at the beginning of March 2016. The food is freshly cooked, even the chips are homemade. They are still building the menu but it is well priced (burger and chips for 9 euros) and they are doing homemade quiches and salads, steak, chicken, etc.It is early days yet but Angela and Pascal are trying hard to make this a good place to go, especially for the summer.The only downside for me is that they have locked the external toilets and you have to go to the bar for the key, which I find incredibly embarrasing and that they are not allowing dogs in the inside restaurant, which is odd for a cafe in France.
De passage pour le travail nous nous sommes arrêtés un peut par hasard dans ce resto, et qu elle agréable surprise!!le lieu est très agréable,au milieu d'un espace vert ,une agréable terrasse;un menu tout a fait correct et abordable,une carte riche en choix.Nous nous sommes régalés de l entrée au dessert ,nous y retournerons avec les enfants un après midi pour profiter du lieu car il y avait un jeux gonflable a leur disposition sur la pelouse et la ballade autours du lac doit être agréable.

Salle super conviviale, carte courte qui vous promet des produits frais.Le vin au pichet est très bonLes burgers .... Ouaou l'auvergnat et l'alsacien une pure tuerie Escale obligatoire !!!! Et croyez moi je déconne pas!!! En plus..... Secret .... C'est pas cher... Mais le dite pas au boss...FAUT Y ALLER!!!!! Roro et Gaga
Truly awful. Limited, meat only, children's menu, so ordered a large selection of dishes for adults and kids to share and asked for extra plates. Food was served without extra plates and when we asked again we were refused. Salad was full of grit, eggs were overdone and grey. No soap in the toilets. A semi deflated paddling pool positioned next to the tables had a thick green puddle of slime in the bottom.

New owners and a new name, back to basic for a Lakeside Cafe / Guinguette. Cafe style menu freshly prepared and good value for money. I have now visited half a dozen times and have not been disappointed and will be on my list for the forth coming summer, highly recommended. As to previous comments about no dogs, dogs are welcomed but inside the restaurant, which I applaud.
